Naturally, my speed varies with conditions. But, on an open interstate in the middle of the day with light traffic, I'll usually put the cruise control on in the low 70's - 71-73MPH. But, that's a Bluebird - it will travel at that speed comfortably and safely.
I previously had a 1990 Winnebago. It would travel comfortably at about 65. It felt squirrely to me above that unless there was NO traffic and NO wind. I usually stuck it on cruise control at 65 and left it there.
