Again, I understand. Just do it a little differently and the last time, with and unexpected death in the family and no way for giving ourselves more time, we just drove late into the night, instead of our usual early afternoon stops. Didn't go any faster, however and might have spent an extra hour on the road in all that distance. One extra stop for anything, if going faster, would have killed the extra time involved, however.
I mean what did people do, during the 80's and when the speed limit was set at 55 by the US Gov. and not get where they were going?
I know what they did, CB's sold out the ying-yang (I had one too)...... I remember driving from Memphis to Nashville to visit my sister and her family. It was torture, especially, when you are 18 yrs. old and 55 mph seemed like walking. LOL!
