How hard to install Blue Ox Patriot and move car to car

I guess my subject line pretty much says what I want ti say. I want to be able to install the Patriot in my 2012 CR-V but will probably buy a new toad in the Spring. Really wonder about the initial installation and the difficulty to change toads.

    We have an installed brake, not a suitcase unit. When we looked we were installing on a new car so mobility was not an issue. My understanding is that the suitcase units are meant to be simple to move. You will need to wire the new vehicle just as you do this one, Brakes lights, Tail and Turn, Power supply and controller. A few hours work. I think part of the reason for the suitcase units is the general ease of installation to facilitate use in multiple vehicles.
