"gowestwardho"......I think you got your answer. Coaches came for years with single pane windows and people still enjoyed camping. As dual and triple pane windows proved their value in houses, they became popular in RV's for the SAME reasons, better insulation and sound deadening.
Dual pane windows are expensive so there's a price point where a manufacture will make them standard equipment or offer them as an option.
The response on this post was overwhelming, concluding that dual pane windows were better and a must for some, yet we still see (human nature) those who don't have them, came up with some ridiculous reasons why they're not needed. So I guess those who don't like dual pane windows don't want or wouldn't buy a house that has them :S
