It all depends, we have a 12 yr old MH w/88K mi and have been using it regularly since we bought it. Start up and drive every month to 6 weeks and do all the regular maintenance required. This last year we have had many repair problems to the tune of about 18K $$$ including 2 breakdowns on the interstate last winter. I thought the Diesels were to last to 250k or more miles w/out problems. I was wrong. IMHO, It still beats buying a permanent vacation home w/ similar costs over the same period.
