I understand the need to know your vehicles weight and the max capacity. But I am just trying to find out how many MH owners actually weigh their rig as suggested?

I had a 4 corner weigh done several years ago. Found out I was overweight with a full tank of fresh water. I never carry more that 1/2 tank since.

Hi,I did. The end result was I purchased new wheels that gave me a wider, taller tire with more capacity at the tire.

I have weighed all four RV's I have owned. Fortunately we were under weight on each. Great piece of mind for us.

I weigh mine. My first camper was a Jayco 5th wheel. I weighed it loaded, weighed my truck and weighed both together. Now with the Itasca, did the same, weighed it, Jeep and together. I was/am just under max weight limits. Just wanted the information to see where I stood.

Had a 34ft Jayco Designer...never weighed...looking back, I am quite sure I was overweight. With my 2000 Winnebago Minnie Winnie, weighed it empty when I bought it, loaded for first trip and have just returned from 4 months travelling the Midwest with a circus and found out all I don't need. I'll be "dumping" and reweighing shortly. I'm now playing a game with myself to see how low in weight I can go and not miss anything. As someone said above, "...great peace of mind".

I had my new sunseeker 3050S weighed after we loaded it this past summer. I did not have access to anything that could weigh each tire, only did the front/rear/total at the local truck stop. I was under the limit for both axles. I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I was below the limits.

Unless I find myself putting on a lot of pounds, I doubt if I will get it weighed again.

Rig handles fine, never have had a problem. No access to water once leave the house so fill tank full.

dumboat2 - How far are you traveling before "dry camping"? You do not have to haul that full tank of water the entire way. You will notice better handling with more weight on the front and less on the rear.

We have weighed twice, been below by 1500# fortunately. I had about 70 psi front and 80 rear. We need to improve the bounce and over steer. I am looking at bilsteins.this is our first mh,so learning alot. Thanks for all your info.

I weighed ours just before our first trip. Coachmen 21qb was right around 10,000 fully loaded (everything but the hubby...he was working!).

I wanted to see if I had enough GCWR leftover to tow my 4000lb loaded horse trailer. Mechanic said I could but I wanted to weigh it anyway.

I agree with the previous poster...can't imagine how some of those 28-32' C's with multiple slides stay under the GVWR. Class A gasser's too for that matter. Wonder how much the fleetwood we test drove actually weighed (it felt like we weren't going to make it up the ramp for our exit!).

I weighed our setup just for the piece of mind. It weighed about what I expected and confirmed I was within the specification for the chassis.

Not a MH as we have a 5'vr.
It has been weighed 7X.......once every year. We FT so I want to know!

Keep telling GF "1 bag IN---2 bags OUT!"
Doesn't help so I just show her the weigh ticket :B
