Weighed ours and as I suspect for many, we were shocked. The Escapade series is a non-slide coach with few extras and no basement storage. Front Axle came up 95+% of rating and 33% of total weight. Rear was also 95+%. From that, I find it hard to believe that any 29-30-31-32-foot Class C's with even one slide are NOT overloaded.
The front axle loading also confirmed why I believe our long wheelbase (218-inches) contributes to decent handling on the road. It shifts "house" weight to the front axle instead of balancing it on the rear axle.
You have to take into consideration that your GVWR is 14,050, while the newer E450s are 14,500# GVWR. I believe yours has a 4,600# front axle and a 9,450# rear axle (totaling that same 14,050#) The newer E450s have 5,000# front axles and 9,600# rear axles (adding up to 100# over the GVWR).
