Wea are just coming off of our 3rd Airstream since 1995, and are awaiting our 2017 Class A diesel pusher coming off the production line. It is pre-wired for solar, and we have spec'd out 3x265 watt panels wired in series and a Moringstar 60a MPPT charge controller. They will service 4-6 GC2 220AH wet cell batteries and a Magnum 2000w/100a pure sine wave inverter charger. We tried to 'swap out' the OEM batteries for AGMs, but the dealer, manufacturer (Thor Tuscany) and the OEM supplier were not interested so we'll put in a battery watering system and change out the batteries much later. Maybe Li will be more reasonably priced by then. We we VERY ACTIVE on the Airstream AirForms,but only just 'discovered' this website. Looks like we'll learn a lot about the implications of moving to Class As from all the posters here!
