I agree with what HeeHawHoney said. After a tornado in March 2012 in my winter "home" in Alabama, I had the only hot coffee in town. Even the utility repair guys were stopping by for a hot cup. They saw my lights on and "pulled in".
After the storm passed and the entire town was without power, I fired up my trusty Onan 5500 and made a cup. It wasn't but a few minutes and my next door neighbor walked over with his wife and each was carrying an empty cup.
Nothing like a storm to bring neighbors together.
