My 'C' came with a built in generator. I'm a solo Rver, so I only need AC in the cab while on the road. Since I like FHUs, I've only used it twice, but I'm glad I had it both times. Once during an area power outage in Florida that took down the power in the CG for a couple of hours, and once on an expressway in Denver when the State Troopers blocked the road in both directions. I found out later that two guys pulled their car into the median, jumped out, hopped into another car, and took off. The Troopers popped the trunk and found several pipe bombs. They finally re-routed us on a two lane side road, which took a few hours. I could have made a fortune renting out the bathroom!
