The key phrase here is "some of the Champion models". Click on all six(6) of the boxes in this link to check out the Champion inverter generator noise specifications ... which read about the same as competing Honda inverter generator models. It looks like Champion is directly challenging many Honda models on all specifications - except price. IMHO, Honda small generators are now overpriced for what you get as compared to certain yellow and black generators:
