I run my generator just about every time I'm running the motor home. I use it to run the roof air which I believe is more economical than running the dash air, as well as taking that extra load of the compressor off the MH engine. Being in Florida with most of my RVing in Florida, the air is on most of the year. It also powers the frig. on 120V and the microwave if needed. All our camping is done at campgrounds with electric so it's not used while "camping".
