We have lots of ac toys that require a daily charge but they do not need a generator. Two i phones, one tablet. My hearing aid batteries and the remote along with two digital cameras... The simple, silent solution is our 250 watt inv
erter (that I bought in 1994), that we just plug into the dash outlet. Coffee get
smade on the stove every morning in my 1994 stainless steel coffee pot.
The battery on our 6.8L V-10 is more than up to the task of charging everything, everyday. Hot water is most efficiently obtained by simply driving or from propane. :C

Bobbo, We can sit with normal usage for 3 to even 4 days without having to run any genny. If my batteries get low on day 3 or 4 I just run the Honda 2000 for a couple of hours and the whole cycle starts over again. My not so subtle point is that it does not take all that much ac (A/C not with standing), to maintain a very pleasent level of comfort. Sorry but IMHO: Lighting off a 4,000 watt genny to make a pot of coffee in a quiet CG is rude and unecessary.
As always... Opinions and YMMV
I apologize. I (mis)read your first post as saying you didn't have, need or see a use for a generator. I couldn't tell from it that you had a generator and used it. As a matter of fact, your 3 or 4 days of battery life falls within my description of "a few days."
I agree that it is overkill to light off a 4,000 watt generator to make a pot of coffee, but that doesn't mean to me that a generator is unnecessary. In my part of the country, the air conditioner in the summer time is not a luxury and requires the generator.
