How to get my air conditioner working using the generator?

Good advice:

One of the on-generator breakers may be OFF. Turn off both breakers and then back ON.

And two different ways you can get power to your house:

ATS= Automatic Transfer Switch- automatically connects to generator when generator running.

Manual switch as pictured immediately above. You must unplug shore power cord and plug in generator.
