We are cleaning and loading the luggage in our 1996 Damon Challenger and it is hot like hell inside.
The thing is I read in the manual that air conditioner can work either with generator or with external power source. The generator works ( I switched it on, and it works great)and is charging the batteries but I don't have power in the plugs and the microwave and air conditioner are not working as well... maybe there is a switch that makes it gives power to the plugs and appliances? It does not seem to be automatic... any tips?
THANKS SO MUCH!
If it's charging the batteries, then it's feeding the converter/charger and must have transferred it's power to the coach, with however it's done. You'll need a voltage check at the converter's 120vac input and hopefully you have at least a 110vac. Also keep in mind that with most gensets, the 20amp breaker on the unit, only feeds the rear air and nothing else, if you indeed have one, but if not, it could be feeding the converter and the 30amp or is off or tripped on the genset.
