How long have you owned the RV? If it is new to you this could be normal.
Engine batteries not fully charged, a grid heater cycling on and off while the engine comes up to temps, house batteries low and being charged by the alternator, can all cause a temporary failure light.
Deeply discharged house batteries should be charged by shoreline or generator to prevent a huge load on the alternator. It is ok to drive with the generator running.
