Hub caps replacement

Just finished our trip to San Diego and Arizona and back home here in Washington State. Motorhome worked just great and except for the very bad weather and crappy roads we had a great time. BUT on the way back on one of the chuck hole pot hole laden roads on 101 in California I lost one of my rear duel hub caps. Here is my question where is a good place to get a replacement? Thanks for any help.

Path1 Thanks that looks just like what I am looking for. You have helped me in the past with the locking gas cap which I got and use. I looked on Amazon and could not find the ones like you describe. Found the spring type but not the ones that have the lug cap device on them. Do you have any link on Amazon I can use? I know I seem like a helpless fool, but so tired from driving all the way on 101 in a storm I can hardly keep my eyes open but would like to have my MH look somewhat neat. It did a great job of getting us home on the bad roads and weather so I want to reward it by washing and cleaning it up good and replacing the wheel hub cap. Thanks.

No, I don't have contact info right now. I sent a PM to IAMICHABOD to see if still has the contact info and link to this posting. If he doesn't post or reply to you, send me a PM and I'll try to find contact info when we get back home around May.

Here is short vid of how they are held on. I also use a dab of lock tite which is not in video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6E_6PKur7A

  • Unless Majestic has changed, you have what is known as the “ hub cap” design. You need the design that caps are held on by couplers nuts. In this link look at.... Over-The-Lug Mounting Style (Style 3) The ones you see along the road that have fallen off are the hub cap design. Spring tension keeps them on till the spring tension is shot or you hit a curb.

Be sure you’re looking at “Over-The-Lug Mounting Style” in this link.

Got mine on amazon, after recommendation from IAMICHABOD, who is active on here. Very happy and they look great. See if IAMICHABOD still has contact info. If not, I have it at my house, but in Yuma right now.
Some people think they have to re-do their extensions of rear valve stems. Or cut a groove in wheel simulator them to get extensions on. I went to a tire shop supply place and they sold me what worked.
If you buy direct from Pacific Dualies you'll pay a lot more for some reason.
