HWH jack problems

One of the front jacks on my 06 Mountain Aire (gasser)will not stay down if I engage the jack to level the coach within two days it will be 1 inch off the ground. I have checked and there are no fluid leeks anywhere. I am assuming it is a valve problem but don't know how to proceed. All advice is much appreciated.

  • With the jack down, I might try loosening the valve and allowing the jack to rise. The fluid coming back through might dislodge any trash or debris that is causing the jack to leak and come back up
  • On the pump assbly you will see 4 hoses. The 2 center hoses are the front jacks. The wire harness usually has the label for which jack (RF or LF). THAT jack solenoid on the opposite side of the hose is the bad solenoid. It is leaking internally. Replace that solenoid. Doug
  • you have air in that jack or the line going to it, get it somewhere that you can cycle it all the way out and in 3 or 4 times so air goes back to tank
  • Located the pump and then will see the control valve. If you don't have a manual then go to HWH and download the correct one. Look in the troubleshooting section and it has detail instruction on your problem. It can be a leaking o-ring to a valve.
