The jack that went too high probably has a BAD pressure switch. Excess slope does NOT mean the unit is way out of level. Excess slope means that 1 jack has fully extended and cannot extend anymore to level the RV. So, IF one of the yellow lights for that jack corner was ON, then one of those jacks will continue to extend until it reaches its full stroke. Once that happens the Excess slope comes on and shuts the system down. IF the yellow lights went out and one jack continues to extend until the stroke is reached and the excess light comes ON, that is an indication that jacks pressure switch is defective. This switch(on each jack) is what tells the system the jack has contac with the ground. Doug
