HWH kevelers

I have a 1995 Holiday Rambler Vacationer on a Ford F-53 chassis. I need to know where the fluid reservoir for my HWH levelers is. I have looked underneath and can’t tell where the hoses go. Would I find it by removing the engine housing? Will it be plainly marked? Thanks for any responses.
  • Follow the lines, follow the sounds. It's the best way. Those pumps can vary in location. I've seen them just about everywhere.
  • My F53 chassis has everything located behind a hinged storage door about halfway downn the RV. As suggested, have someone run the jacks and listen for it. I know on my system it is very easy to hear the electic motor spinning the pump. Good luck.

Yes Sir, our old coach, a 99 Fleetwood Bounder 34V, w/F-53 Chassis, also had the reservoir behind the house batteries. That certainly doesn't mean the OPs will be there but, they have to be somewhere so, it might be worth a look.

  • Have someone activate the jacks while you listen to the pump. Follow your ears and that is where it is located. It will NOT be anywhere around the engine cover or housing. Doug
  • We have a class A on a F53 chassis, and our reservoir is right up front, just behind the front bumper (or where a bumper would be if we had one).

Every motorhome is assembled differently, but the reservoir and pump are pretty substantial things, so they're probably mounted to some part of the frame.

  • Mine would be different so I can't help, but I can say that HWH has pretty helpful phone people.
  • Not much help, but I am having the same problem with my 99 Winnie Chieftain on the F53 chassis so if you don't mind I will hitch on with you.
