I am scared!

We have our first legitimate bite on our beautiful 2004 Tropi-Cal which we have had for sale for4 months. I am getting cold feet on selling her.
We want to down size but want to stay in a class A DP.
Found one we really like , 4 feet shorter, is it worth it for 4 feet I ask myself.
Side hinged cargo doors for our old backs. Is it worth it?
New vs old. Things are starting to get old even though she has been mostly trouble free. Kinda waiting for things to break even though nothing has.
Giving up lots of quality for maybe not so much.
I really, really want a shorter MH. DH wants the senior friendly cargo doors.
I have this nagging feeling I will be sorry.
Well??????

  • Well Sherry, it's hard to say. Your current motorhome is over 10 yrs. old and is only going to get older. It's not 'if' something is going to break, it's when. But, it could be all small stuff and the diesel engines do last a long time with regular maintenance.

Air bags will need to be replaced along with bushings, anything rubber, as they age.

What 'smaller' unit has caught your eye? Is it a Tiffin Breeze?

    MM.
  • We miss our 04 Tropi-Cal T396 in so many ways but, it was time to move on. Of course we went bigger rather than smaller.
