Whatever.
My guess is that CW took this camper as a trade in.
They told the owner they were giving them $xxx in trade.
In reality they gave the customer $zero.
In order for a third party to buy it wholesale, and sell it retail, and make $500 for their time, the vehicle has to be worth $500 to start with. That is questionable in this case.
So CW put it out there hoping someone would give them a couple hundred dollars to take it off their hands.
It makes perfectly good business sense to me.
