I feel like I should know the answer, but...

Re: 2017 Winnebago class A: When plugged into shore power, the house battery switch (salesman switch) won't turn off. When not on shore power, it can be turned off. I believe this is proper but not sure. Anyone?

    That is a battery disconnect switch, when on shore power, the convertor powers the coach. If you leave it off, the batteries will not charge.
