For what it's worth, I stopped driving my self nuts calculating MPG years ago. It's just not worth it. There are so many factors and variances and in the end what difference does it make? You won't buy an RV or take a trip if MPG is 7 vs. 9? Calculate that on a trip and in dollars it's not as much as you think. If someone asks me my mileage I tell them " I get pretty good mileage for an apartment".
