I know we're about 5000 miles away (just hop on I-40 and head East:)), but our local dealership has been great!
Howard RV, here in Wilmington, seems to feel that Customer satisfaction is important:) Who knew??
They offer monthly seminars for anyone who wants to go....and even cater it. I've learned plenty of great information from these classes, and the folks there are the best! All the Techs are Certified, and as the owner said, who would you rather go to for Heart Surgery....a Surgeon, or a Board Certified Surgeon who specializes in your problem? Seems to make a lot of sense to me!
They are not a huge business, but they have a very nice Parts Dept., as well as the Service Dept.
No, I'm not being paid for this commment...:B....unless you count the T-shirt I won as a door prize at one of the seminars:B
I guess the lesson here, is to look at a dealership....ask if they can give you the names of a few buyers, or maybe even go to a local CG and see if you can spot one of their RVs? And talk to people. A call to the BBB isn't a bad suggestion either, since I'm guessing that your particular dealership probably has had a few complaints.
Oh, and "Tug".....do you work on Tugboats? I'm a C.E. here on the East Coast:)
