Since your inverter portion works, you're fuse is good. The problem with a newer replacement will be the control cable... yours is a four line phone cable and newer use a Cat5 cable. Running a new cable or moving the control panel to a closer location may be possible.
I would think in SLC you could find a electronics repair facility that could repair the rectifier (three diodes) which is probably all that's wrong with the charge side.
*If you do not boondock (need 100+ amp recharge) then adding a 30 amp smart charger/converter ( $155) may be all you need to keep your batteries up. Newer is not necessarily better as many are now made in China.
