We were in our early thirties when we moved into our current neighborhood. Several neighbors had RVs; these were folks in their 60's and 70's. Within a few years each of the neighbors had gotten rid of their RV. One neighbor said they had decided to spend more time around home. I guessed most of them had the RV when their kids were still living at home and now the kids were gone.
Now that we are creeping past 65 I'm beginning to realize why our neighbors may have sold off their RVs... It's a lot of work which wasn't so bad when we were younger but now that our joints ache and pit stops are more frequent RVing is losing the appeal it once had for us.
