We started with a tent, then a popup, then a 26' TT, then a 34' TT with 2 bedrooms, now a 32' Class C. So I can say been there done that and have the T-Shirt. With a TT you have to have something that can pull it, so you have the cost of a truck, you have to be a little more physical with a TT as there is more work to setting up a TT than a motorhome. As you travel if the kids need a potty break or you want a sandwich the TT is impossible to get into as you are running down the road, so you stop and do what needs to be done. In a motorhome you can have someone get you a drink, food, bathroom for the kids, with a generator on the motorhome you can let the kids watch TV while you travel. To set up a motorhome takes about 10 minutes. Pull in, plug in, hook up water and sewer, set down and have a beer. If it raining/dark when you get there stay inside and relax until your ready to setup. The draw back with a motorhome is the costs...buying it, insurance, low gas mileage (6-9mpg) and if you are going to go sight seeing, 32' is hard to get around so you will need a toad to pull behind the motorhome...additional costs. Spend the next 2 months as you have with the TT research to find the right motorhome...also look at the Class A's. HAPPY RVing.
