I went back to the first page and you know sometime you just have to say "NO". It is the "budget thing" and that you have not been RVing before that is bothering me the most about all this. You are looking for a reliable and safe method of taking this trip and are looking at $25K as a budget. Do you want to trade in the Yukon? The reason I ask is you cannot tow it behind the motorhome without it being on a trailer so that is reducing your RV budget a couple of thousand to buy the trailer that is capable of holding the Yukon or to buy a vehicle that is towable and then get it set up to tow behind the motorhome, at least $1500 for used stuff that is needed. This kind of brings your RV total down to $22K or less???? You don't sound like you and the DW have spent anytime RV'ing and spending a lot of time together (20 hours a day)in an area the size of most peoples living room. I hate to see you spend this $$$$ and not like it. You might think about hoteling it this time, if you don't get a chance to try this a couple of times before the investment and your planed trip. Just saying you can get some nice hotel rooms for $25K. Also as a budget side note... you are talking 6-9mpg for the gas for the Class C and campground fees of $25+ per night.
