Doing a Google search on another subject, I stumbled into this photo. I thought I've seen just about every creative use for an RV possible. I suppose there are still some surprises "out there!" I suppose this really is a true "CLASS-A Funeral hearse!" (pun on words, yes!). :WNo purpose for this post, except to share some laughter.

Well, since they stopped marketing it in 1991, I'd say it was either too clever or not clever enough. I suspect many folks really didn't want to ride with the body.

A local politician also ran a mortuary.
He remodeled the fh to include a large drive by viewing window!!!!
Later he was investigated for taking bribes, went on the run and was found dead under a house curled up with a bottle.
Death can bring out the weird.

Pretty creative from a marketing standpoint. Both for Airstream and a funeral home.

Eliminates a lot of vehicles and allows a group of people to travel together. Even eliminates the flower car.

I only wonder if it saves any money for the deceased persons family?

I don't know. Seeing the layout, I think I'd prefer to sit Behind the dead guy so I could see if he got up suddenly. Having a dead guy right behind me seems to say "fodder for the mummy/zombie/vampire".
