My cruise control is usually set on 58 mph when on the freeways, because that's what I feel is a good compromise between safety and economy. I don't know if I'm just lucky or what - people seem to be able to pass me with no drama.
I also try to pull over if I've got cars behind me on a 2-lane road - but I make sure I can do it safely, and I signal my intentions.
Alan, I was on Hwy #99 Lodi and passing a semi, I put my right turn signal on and passed the semi, then I turned into the right lane and a car got between me and the semi (tailgating me I couldn't see him) until he honked and showed me his IQ! I just figured he just got done watching a episode of the Beverly Hillbillies before he got into his car. I blew him a kiss as he passed me!
