I'd like some clarity on the California towing speed limit

Makes sense at 55mph and I really don't care about the speed limit, as I'm not about to drive a behemoth, pulling a vehicle behind it at that, any faster than 50 or so. That's for semi-trucks that think they can corner and stop like a BMW Z4 and never could figure out why speed limits are usually the same for all vehicles. Oops, I guess I do know and it's all about money like most everything is this world, with an economic basis behind everything.
