I was heading east on I-10 towards Palm Springs and this fellow in a pickup was waving his hat towards me through his cab.....I just looked at him dumbfounded.......like what did I do?..... Realized a few minutes later that he wanted me to get over to the right.....I was in the third lane from right as there were semis clogging up the two right hand lanes at a slower speed. As I passed him when he was off ramping, he flashed his badge and waved....I think he got his message across to me. I did not know about that road rule....lesson learned...but I still hate going 55mph behind semis!
