There are alternatives to RV'ing that might appeal to hubby more including touring by car or airlines with car rentals and staying in motels. KOA RV parks offer small cabins for car people. I can see where buying an RV and having one partner liking the lifestyle, and the other not, could lead to marital tension in some cases. It can be expensive to buy an RV and then decide to sell it or let it sit for years, in your driveway, unused. Good luck with whatever you decide, take your time and learn about the length, floor plan/sleeping accomodations and features available in various brands and models. I recommend a 27 foot Class C with rear bedroom and "RV queen sized bed" over shorter rigs with less comfortable and convenient sleeping setups and less storage room.
