We just got back from spending five days camping with friends. I packed half of one small duffel bag with clothing. DW packed (no exaggeration) eleven entire outfits plus spare clothing and outerwear.
On day 2 of our trip, we stopped at Wal-Mart to pick up three items and she spent $300 buying more clothing.
She also packed nearly the entire contents of our home refrigerator and we actually did feed five full meals to 20 people each time, then came home with about half the food we had initially packed.
I'm not completely innocent in all this. I tend to bring entirely too much booze for any given situation, and I have a frustrating habit of packing every tool I own... except for the one or two that I really need when something breaks in the RV.
