First off, there are some special rules on importing a MH to Canada and not all models can be imported. Not sure how the six months in the US will work out with being FT???
Based on your 60 posts this year, some about B+ you are looking at too short for FT. Yes it's harder to find a site for a 40' MH in some NP, USFS, SP campgrounds but it's not impossible. Here are some of my posts on this subject.
I would not rule out a higher end DP that's up to 8 years old or even older if the TVs have been replaced. Based on what I've learned this week about the newest Monaco and their emphases on customer support I would add the Monaco brands... Beaver, Safari, HR, Monaco to your list of used MHs.
I would get at least a 40' with tag... lots of CCC so big tanks and easy to boondock for 5-7 days at a time.
Add 500W of solar at one $/W plus the controller so you can Replace the Nocold 1200 and run a residential refrigerator.
