If you own a 2003 Beaver Patriot/Marquis I need your help

I think mine is the same as yours...at least I think there was a chain when I last looked at it 4 years ago. It's probably a common mechanism in the 2000 to 2004 beavers.

I read you initial post a couple of times but never quite figured out just what part failed or what problem you are having. I've only heard of an occasional problem with the brake/electrical where it wouldn't move but nothing mechanical comes to mind.

There are a lot of resources on the BAC forum so someone will have an answer.
