Camp chairs, barbecue, dogs bowls, dishes sitting on the counter, need to be put away, front seats need to be turned, TV needs secured, antenna needs to go down, and probably more. It takes most people longer than 30 seconds, to break camp, to go sight seeing, or what ever. Plus a B can't go the places a 4X4 Tow Vehicle can go, and not just because of the ground clearance, the rough roads can really take a toll on the appliances, pipes, etc.
With a TT as a base camp, you can return to your sight after nine at night, and not wake up the whole place. No matter how quiet you are, if your in a Park, your going to wake people up, and that was one thing I didn't want to do.
Not trying to talk you out of a "B" just some reasons I went from a "B" to a 19' TT.
Of course we are not tourers, going from one place to another every day, we like to stay put for a few days, really see the area, and meet the people.
Different strokes, and all that. We loved our "B", but we really needed something that better fit our style of RVing
Things go both ways, there have been a lot of TT owners that have gone to B's and are very happy.
