With Dish, you do have a lot of options.
Our VIP211 receiver has both hdmi and RGB+white-red RCA outputs for HD, as well as a coax SD output.
So with dish, something pretty much has to work, because it is all there.
With direct, HD from a dome is a non-option anyway.
