Unless it is REALLY COLD out, it will come up to full operating temperature in a lot less than 2 hours.
If it is REALLY cold out, just leave it alone until the weather warms up a bit......and then running it 30 to 45 minutes will be plenty. If you don't believe that, just remove the cover panel and feel around on the inside a bit (being careful not to BURN your hand).
