INSURANCE HELP

I just bought a 1997 ford e350 rv that was converted by the company "born free". Tried to insure it with gieco today and they said the VIN is not listed as an automobile or an rv. The title says 1997 make: born free Series: MHC and Model BF20SPT. Which is 20 foot sports van. They sent me to the rv underwriter or some nonsense and they said because it doesn't have a full kitchen they can't insure it. I didn't think I would have a problem insuring my simple new van. It's basically a ford van w a little luxury on the back. Can you guys steer me to a good place to insure it? help lol

This is the **** that made me dump Geico.
  • Ask a number of agents/insurance companies. Get the best coverage for you dollar. I use GS for my TT and may switch the TV next year.
  • The VIN on the inside door says "incomplete vehicle manufactured by ford and equipped with fords RV prep package"
