It has been my experience, trucking, insurance companies really play hard ball. And are in general pretty mean and nasty.
You need another expert opinion, to state this damage is new. Auto damage experts, is one company, or perhaps a rv body shop. But you need it in writing, and expect to pay for it, 3 or 4 hundred I would guess.
Lawyer won't be able to help much, at this stage. Until you have that report.
