If $2500 is what you paid for it and you would be happy with that, then just tell the adjuster that. If I were you I would call him and say you've talked to some lawyers and they suggested you try and settle the claim without getting lawyers and the insurance commissioner involved. Tell them to write you a check for $2500 and let you keep the motorhome and you'll sign the release. Tell them that offer is only good for 24 hours otherwise you'll have to hire the lawyer and obviously costs will go up. $2500 is pocket change for an insurance company and they may just cut you that check.
