So is it he's bored and just wants to vent or looking for opinions. I think he recieved support either way ( this and the other post). I think all the posts were trying to be helpful, despite the accusations by the OP he's being screwed by the insurance company, even though he was told he would be offered a low ball offer ahead of the actual offer by many here, and then acts surprised. There are many people here who had good suggestions.
Asking questions isn't being inconsiderate, just people trying to understand the issue at hand. Not knowing the whole situation only gets you half baked answers. I guess that's what he wanted. He certainly doesn't need to answer to anyone.
That's why people don't want to get involved these days, too many people take you the wrong way.
Other than that I hope the OP gets it all figured out and can move on with his future.
