insurance trying to screw meeeeeee

Don, I can't see ANY damage on that pic of the truck you posted. I'm assuming the OPs rig was damaged by the trailer not the truck. Regardless, this whole thing smells. Not saying that because the OP is a newbie and this is his first post, but because of inconsistent statements he's making. If I were the insurance adjuster, I'd look at what he's said and he'd get zip. I don't think this is a scam, per se. But there are too many "issues" with this incident. The OP can't tie up his bumper? He's in a major parking lot for crying out loud. How hard would it have been to ASK someone to help hold up the bumper while tying it to the ladder? Then the coach is moved/towed/whatever to a repair shop and he's offered an $800 settlement. 32% of the coach value. He wants more because he no longer wants this coach. By his statement, he wants a newer one.

He cries Woe is me, but I, for one, am not buying it. I've been in the OPs shoes. But I put on my big boy pants, pulled up the boots and tied em up. Time for the OP to do the same...I'm out...Dennis
