Intellitec BD1 Displays the Same Battery Voltage: SOLVED
Well, I've finally gotten annoyed enough to start tracking down the 12V problems my RV has.
One of the first issues I wanted to resolve was that the BD1 control panel always displayed the same voltage, no matter if I pushed the rocker button "Up" or "Down".
Well, I unmounted it, and did some testing and some reverse engineering of the unit.
Turns out, depressing the switch either way sends the SAME battery voltage to the display circuit. LOL! It only checks the Coach battery no matter which direction the rocker button is depressed!
It does not look like it would take much to alter the PCB with cuts and jumpers so that the ALREADY INCLUDED double throw switch, could selectively route either of the batteries to the voltage display circuit.
If I do the above, I'll make certain to take good photos of exactly what is needed to be done.
