There are basically 3 ways you can plug into 50 amps and the Intellitec will say "30"
One: Park is not properly wired, you have L-1, N L-1 (or L-2 N L-2) this not proper 50 amp service and in fact is a fire hazard.
2: Defective Intellitec
3: Other defective part or tripped breaker feeding it.
(Oh, and 4, forgot this one,,, Someone messed with the order of breakles in your box and put both lines to the EMS on the same leg)
