I never thought I'd have a total loss either....then Mother Nature threw me a curveball and I missed.....28" of rain overnight....flooded the car, couldn't move the moho cuz the car was in front of it...thank goodness for air bags...saved the coach but lost the HHR...two other folks in the campground in the same predicament weren't so lucky, lost a 2009 Newell and a Prevost......never know what will/can/could happen at any time.....just sayin......Dennis
I guess I'm not making myself clear. I want to pay for insurance that covers me with a fair amount in the event of a total loss. I don't want to PAY for insurance that makes me a profit in the event of a total loss. Sure if I drop my coverage and then my motorhome burns to the ground next month I'll be kicking myself. But I don't want to pay for this extra un-needed coverage because there is a minute chance I may need it some day.
I notice nobody has jumped forward to offer to pay me the $400 annually and then be the beneficiary of this extra money.
