I have a Freedom 2 Kw inverter, but have never found anything that it does, other than charge the batteries. The inverter was changed out about 2 years ago, but I never noticed if it was any different before then.
as others here mention.The inverter has to be in auto mode or left in on position otherwise must manually turn it on.
There are no "special" outlets at all. You just need to meter outlets
when on invert to see which ones are live.usually the main factory installed tv is one of them. one of the kitchen outlets and one in the bedroom. others may vary
