Inverter and TV
Hi guys! Why does my on board inverter fail to allow my tv to turn on? New rv. Dealership told me it should so we can use the tv while driving without using the generator. Any suggestion?

Check the power cord input on the tv. If it says 12v dc near the input or on the information sticker, you do not need the inverter to power it. You can get a dc power cord to power it from the camper 12v system if there is a 12v outlet nearby, or hard wire a cord. No need to invert 12v dc to 120v ac then convert back to 12v dc at the tv power brick if the tv is 12v dc
